# Tree felling sound sources

Every recording here is trimmed from a Freesound upload released under
[CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/) (public domain).
[`scripts/build-tree-audio.py`](../../../scripts/build-tree-audio.py) holds
the exact cuts: it downmixes each recording to mono, filters out the rumble
beneath it, trims the segment, normalises its peak to -1 dBFS, fades its ends
and encodes Ogg Vorbis.
