# Strike sound sources

A creature's claws striking the player: the claws whipping past, skin
tearing, the wet blow and blood thrown about. Every recording here is trimmed
from a Freesound upload released under
[CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/) (public domain).
[`scripts/build-strike-audio.py`](../../../scripts/build-strike-audio.py) holds
the exact cuts: it trims each segment, mixes it to mono at 48 kHz or less,
normalises its peak to -1 dBFS, fades its ends and encodes Ogg Vorbis.
